Sam, thanks for visiting my blog. You'll love these pencils. I just use a black aquarellable stabilo. There's a crayon version and just a graphite version. I love them both.
Thanks - I think I'm starting to get the hang of them - I think I'll probably pick up the crayon version next - I like these but I'm not sure I like them more than just a simple watercolor paint set - we'll see. I love your blog btw - great source of inspiration.
It's a tough medium, I'm still struggling with it! But the water solubles are great for getting quick sketches done, once you're used to them. I really love the one of your dog on the bottom of the page.
